All About You
Let’s be real, the reason I am here and doing this work is because of you. Because I see your pain. As someone who grew up in a conservative Christian household, I am well versed in the dogma. I have suffered immeasurable pain during my childhood. Years of abuse, abandonment and isolation. I was the prefect ‘vulnerable’ to be indoctrinated into the evangelical movement which I accepted with open arms during my high school years because I finally felt accepted and ‘seen’. I went on mission trips, I trauma dumped to massive crowds of people without any concern for my emotional wellbeing. It took me years to begin to ask questions, unpack and journey through the pain of the trauma I suffered. I did most of it alone and I don’t want that for you. If you have suffered trauma, from the church or otherwise, I want to extend a hand and tell you “Let’s walk this together”.
“Helping others through trauma isn’t about fixing their pain—it’s about walking alongside them, offering comfort, and creating a safe space to heal at their own pace.”
But What Do I Know?
Not only do I have real life exprience within the evangelical community, I have lived exprience of other forms of trauma so I will always walk alongside you with understanding. I have a certificate in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy which allows me to use body focused resources that talk therapy does not use. I have a Bachelors’ Degree in Psychology and Sociology. I am also almost finished with a Life Coaching Qualification and Neurolinguistics Programming Qualification. My aim is to have a broad spectrum of resources available because I believe that no one experiences or heals from trauma the same.
